HOW
IT WORKS:
Each player will purchase a Starter deck and 3 boosters
with which they will build two 30-card decks (One "Good" and one "Evil"). Both
of these decks will be used by each player during the party.
The
first round will be played by setting players in groups of 4 or 6 at each table.
Choose one player at each table to flip a coin. If it's heads, he's the "Good
guys". Tails and he's "Evil". Each player after the first will be alternately
assigned to use Evil and Good until there are an even number of both at each table
(or as near as possible). A table can really have an uneven number of good or
evil players, but it works best when it's split evenly. The first round is ready
to begin. Get ready to Shag!
Each table will play its first game,
recording each individual player's score (in mojo or billions of dollars) at the
end of each game. Then, each table will play a second game, with each player switching
their allegiance to evil or good depending on what they started with. At the end
of the second game, the individual scores are tallied again and added to the previous
individual scores. The player at each table with the highest cumulative mojo or
ransom (in billions of dollars, of course) will advance to the "Daddy Pants" round.
The
Daddy Pants round will be a repeat of the above instructions except that each
player at this table is a winner from the previous round. The highest total score
after two games at the Daddy Pants table is declared as the one who "Wears the
Daddy Pants"
The remaining players from each of the original tables
can also continue to play! Simply regroup them into tables of 4 to 6 players and
start the game simultaneously with the Daddy Pants table. The bottom line is that
game-play encourages prizes! Prizes will be supplied by the Swinger and can be
given away at any time, for any reason including prizes for the player who ultimately
"Wears the Daddy Pants"
The overall atmosphere at an Austin Powers
party should be relaxed and easy going. These parties should not be run with the
seriousness of a sanctioned event as with any other game system. These events
are meant to be fun..."Pretty standard, really"
