Roleplayers Venture Deeper into Middle-earth with Spring
Releases of The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game
(Norfolk, VAApril 15, 2003) Fans of both The Lord of the
Rings films and roleplaying game will soon be able to immerse
themselves even more deeply into the world of Middle-earth with the next
sequence of roleplaying games releasing from Decipher.
Based on the Coda system designed by Decipher's RPG Studio and introduced
with The Lord of the Rings RPG Core Book last year, these exciting
new resources include the following:
- Fell Beasts and Wondrous Magic
This 96-page, hardcover, full-color book details the creatures, both fair
and foul, and the magical places and items found throughout the trilogy.
Scheduled to release in April 2003. MSRP: $24.95
- Moria Boxed Set
This beautiful boxed set details the ancient realm of the dwarf-lords.
With maps, a 32-page book, and a 96-page book, it allows players to enter
an adventure filled with twists and turns as the Fellowship journeys through
the underground mazes of Moria. Scheduled to release in May 2003. MSRP:
$34.95
- The Two Towers Sourcebook
This 128-page, full-color, hardback book details the characters, places,
and events found in The Two Towers book and film. It also includes character
write-ups for the main characters, plus detailed write ups and adventure
seeds. Scheduled to release in June 2003. MSRP: $29.95
Decipher will continue the support of its Lord of the Rings RPG
line with summer releases of Maps of Middle-earth, Set 2: Cities and
Strongholds, Helm's Deep Sourcebook, and Paths of the Wise:
The Guide to Magicians & Loremasters.
