Exclusive The Lord of the Rings TCG Promo Card
at Theaters December 17 - 21
 It's
time to get ready to see the final chapter in New Line Cinema's epic Rings
trilogy, The Return of the King. Decipher's Lord of the Rings
TCG will help make your theater-going experience even more memorable with
the opportunity to receive a special exclusive promotional card – Frodo,
Resolute Hobbit – when you go to the theater during the five-day opening
weekend.
A great collectible and souvenir, this prevew version of the Resistance
12 Ring-bearer won't be tournament-legal until the final version is released
in a later set – but in the meantime, the card and your movie ticket
stub can get you a free booster pack of The Lord of the Rings TCG!
How does this work? With the release of The Return of the King
in theaters worldwide on December 17th, Decipher Product
Champions around the globe will be working the crowds, getting them
excited about The Lord of the Rings TCG and Fan Clubs, and directing
them to participating Preferred Retailer stores. All Lord of the Rings
Product Champions will receive quantities of promotional Frodo cards directly
from Decipher to hand out at theaters during the opening weekend of the
movie. This card directs the "Ring-bearer" to visit a special Decipher
web page to find a participating retailer where they can redeem their
movie ticket from The Return of the King for a free booster pack.
Participating retailers have agreed to give out a free booster pack, of
their choice, of The Lord of the Rings TCG to any customer who gives
them their movie ticket from The Return of the King and shows them
the promotional Frodo card. This offer is good "while supplies last," so
you should contact any participating retailer before heading out to their
store – each retailer may have different guidelines or availability.
Decipher Preferred Retailers who wish to participate in this promotion
must sign up by December 8th, either by registering here
or by emailing Kyle Heuer at kyle.heuer@decipher.com.
