The best players in the world will compete for a prize purse of $30,000 and the title of World Champion. This three-day event will feature multiple formats. All Day 1 events are open to non-qualified players. Participants must be qualified to participate in Day 2 and Day 3 events.

Culture Shock
All Free People cards (except Frodo) must be from the same culture. All Shadow cards must be from the same culture. This tournament is Open format.

Race to Mount Doom Grab Bag
Get a taste of the exciting Race to Mount Doom league in a tournament! Before every round, each player will randomly select a rule to apply to them for that round. The selected rule texts will come from the Race to Mount Doom league kit (ëYou may not play a Maní will be removed, since it will make some decks unplayable). You might pick a beneficial one (ëYour starting companions may have a total twilight cost of 6 instead of 4.í) or you might pick a difficult one (ëEach time your fellowship moves, add a burden.í). Come try your luck and Race to Mount Doom! This tournament is Standard format.

Tower Draft
Come out and draft the newest cards from the Tower Block. Test your play skills on this level playing field. Each player will need to bring:
  • (1) Tower Draft Pack
  • (1) Two Towers Booster Pack
  • (2) Ents of Fangorn Booster Packs
  • (1) Frodo – any version from the Tower Block
  • (1) The One Ring – any version from the Tower Block
  • (1) Adventure Deck – any nine sites from the Tower Block

Booster draft product packs may be purchased from the Decipher store.

Secrets of the Shire
Got a headache? Need some peace and quiet? This is the tournament for you. During the tournament, players may not speak. All communication must be done silently. If a player speaks during gameplay, his or her opponent may add (or remove) one twilight token for each word spoken. This tournament is Standard format.

Premier Series Qualifier (PSQ)
If you still have not earned a Premier Point, or if you are gunning for the Player of the Year award, then this tournament is for you. The top eight finishers at each PSQ will earn a Premier Point. These PSQs are open to anyone and will be run in Tower Draft format. Each player will need to bring:
  • (1) Tower Draft Pack
  • (1) Two Towers Booster Pack
  • (2) Ents of Fangorn Booster Packs

Highlander
There can be only one! You may not have more than one of any card of the same title in your deck. For example, you may not have Aragorn, Ranger of the North and Aragorn, King in Exile in your deck (they have the same title). This tournament is Open format.

Team Tournament
Gather a team of three or four players together and compete in this annual fan favorite. Games are played 1v1, much like any other tournament. The differences are that:
  • You will never be paired with a teammate
  • Results are tallied and prizes given out based on team totals, not individual totals. The top three scores from each team will be added together to determine placement.

This tournament is Standard format.

Arwen Championship
This tournament is only for female players. The top women in gaming will compete to find out who is as Fierce. as Arwen. This tournament is Standard format.

Junior Championship
This tournament is for players 16 years of age or younger. This tournament is Standard format.

Multiplayer Championship
Multiplayer takes deck-building skills, gameplay skills, and social skills. Who has the best combination of these skills? Weíll find out as players compete for the title of Multiplayer Champion. This tournament is Standard format.

Charity Tournament
Got plenty of extra cards that youíd like to donate to a needy young gamer? Come play in the Charity tournament and youíll get your chance. Each player will bring four decks to use in the tournament. Players will use a new deck for each round. Every time a card would go into the discard pile or the dead pile, it will go into the charity box instead. At the end of the tournament, all of the donated cards will be given to a local charity. This tournament is Open format. Please note that playing a Moria deck might be a bit difficult ;)
