All tournaments are Second Edition unless otherwise specified.

Tournament Format Descriptions

World Championship

The best players in the world will compete for a prize purse of $10,000 and the title of World Champion. This three-day event will feature multiple formats. All Day 1 events are open to non-qualified players. Participants must be qualified to participate in Day 2 and Day 3 events

Sealed Deck

Play Star Trek CCG on a level playing field in Sealed Deck. Each player must bring:

• (1) Second Edition Starter Deck
• (2) Energize Booster Packs

Sealed Deck product packs may be purchased from the Decipher store.

First Edition Championship

Bust out your First Edition decks and compete for the title of First Edition Champion. This tournament will be using First Edition cards and rules. Any Second Edition cards that are First Edition compatible may be played.

Race to the Alpha Quadrant Grab Bag

This tournament will bring the a taste of the exciting Race to Mount Doom league to Star Trek CCG! Before every round, each player will randomly select a rule to apply to them for that round. The selected rule texts have been specifically written for these events by the Decipher TCG studio. You might pick a beneficial one (ëYou may select the cards in your starting handí) or you might pick a difficult one (ëYou may not play more than two cards each turní). Come try your luck and Race to the Alpha Quadrant!

Maiden Voyage

This is your first chance to qualify for Day 2 of the 2004 ST:CCG World Championship! The top eight players will receive Maiden Voyage pins, the top four players will receive Maiden Voyage binders, and the winner will earn the 2004 World Championship bye! This tournament is open to all players.

First Edition Constructed

This tournament will be using First Edition cards and rules. Any Second Edition cards that are First Edition compatible may be played.

Team Tournament

Gather a team of three or four players together and compete in this annual fan favorite. Games are played 1v1, much like any other tournament. The differences are that:

• You will never be paired with a teammate
• Results are tallied and prizes given out based on team totals, not individual totals. The top three scores from each team will be added together to determine placement.
