Star Trek CCG Top 100: The Stats and Nothing But the Stats
Curious about the details of the votes for the top Star Trek CCG
cards? So was I, so I compiled some statistics from the ton of data at my
disposal. Here are a few raw numbers and percentages to chew on:

Since exactly 100 cards received 11 or more votes, those were our top 100.
There were 15 cards with 11 votes, so what you see on the card list as 86th
through 100th place is actually a 15-way tie for 86th place. (in fact, nearly
every place below 20 was at least a two-way tie.) As you can see, 16 cards
just missed the cut with 10 votes each. One vote one way or the other could
have swung the tide for these 16 cards, which were tied for 101st place:

* Kivas Fajo the personnel garnered only 10 votes vs. 18 for the event
card Kivas Fajo Collector.
** Ten votes make this Borg Queen a pale shadow of the First Contact Borg
Queen, who took second place with 81 votes, and not even so hot compared
to the Call to Arms Borg Queen, Guardian of the Hive, one of the two CTA
cards that made the top 100 (wth 14 votes nominally 70th place, but
really tied for 66th place with Mot the Barber and three other cards).
None of the top 10 places were tied. Here are the actual vote numbers for
the top 10:

*** Since this is a single card (but double-sided), I combined all votes
received for Deep Space 9, for Terok Nor, or for the combination. If a single
ballot contained separate votes for Deep Space 9 and Terok Nor, they counted
as one vote.
That's all I have time for today. Later I'll bring you more statistics
and some voting oddities.
