Technical Service Alert: Message Board Passwords
and Volunteer (PC) Applications
A failure in our system that sends automated emails has disabled two of
our online systems since approximately March 21st.
Message Board Handle Passwords
If you registered a Decipher message board handle since March
21, but did not receive a password by email, we regret that it is not possible
to send you a password at this time. (The randomly-generated passwords are
not accessible except via the automated email generator.) Please do not
attempt to register any message board handles until we post a notice on
www.decipher.com notifying you that the problem has been repaired; at that
time, you will be able to register a new handle or use the "forgotten
password" reminder for an existing handle.
This problem affects all Decipher-operated message boards including the
Star Trek and Lord of the Rings Fan Club boards. It does
not affect your login for your store account on the Decipher/Fan Club
online stores, which is a completely separate account.
Volunteer (Product Champion) Applications
Our online application form for our volunteer Product Champion program has
been disabled since approximately March 21. If you submitted an online application
for the Product Champion program on or after March 21, please email Kim
Logie (kim.logie@decipher.com)
for a paper application form and resubmit your application in that format.
Any prospective applicants should also request paper application materials
until further notice.
We apologize for the inconvenience imposed by these system failures.
