Welcome to Fractured Time

like fun."
Time and space unravel in this 40-card set for the STAR TREK CCG Second
Edition. With new cards for each of the game's affiliations, you can erode
the boundaries between the past, the future, and parallel universes.
This 40-card set is great for new players and veteran players alike as
it comes packaged with a Second Edition starter (with rulebook), three boosters
(1 Premiere, 1 Energize, and 1 Call to Arms), and forty new cards with exciting
game play. All of this is wrapped up in a player favorite 300-count card
box. Yes, these boxes will come in multiple versions.
While some of the forty cards have characters from alternate universes,
the future, and the past, there are also plenty of other personnel, ships,
and other cards that don't touch on alternate, future, or past stories.
And the appropriate icons (alternate universe, future, and past) don't just
show up on these visitors but they have cards that make use of their icons
to offer some cool gameplay effects.
Fractured Time also introduces a new "call out" keyword Decay.
This new effect will destroy the card it is on but not right away.
As you play, certain things trigger the demise of these cards. What type
of cards have decay? Events. Some decay events have strong game text and
some decay events do something interesting when they are destroyed. But
all the decay events will eventually leave ... yes, their TIME is short.
Looking through the Fractured Time cards I see:
- Select X personnel to be stopped
- Meru's hubby
- Kirk and Spock doing the hop
- Lots of icons in card text (one card has 6 and another has 5)
- Two Worfs
- Someone that wants your love
- And someone who wants to beat them into submission for you
- An image of Jonathan Archer
- An irate commander
- An outlaw
- A Q card and a way to get it
- A founder that isn't a changeling
- A piece of pottery
- A human "More or less"
- A transcendent explorer
- A cloaking device
- A red dress er, uniform
- A tinkerer not that one, the one from the future
- A play rehearsal Shakespeare of course
- A Prefect
- A legend You know what, I am not going to tease about this card.
Here is a text spoiler of a living legend for you:

While this personnel is facing a dilemma that has requirements you cannot
meet, you may kill this personnel to prevent any further effects of
that dilemma and overcome it.

Over the next few weeks we will be spoiling cards and showing what they
can mean to you and the way that you play the game. Welcome to the Fractured
Time web area but tread carefully as you navigate the strands of FRACTURED
TIME.
