2004 Decipher Volunteer Awards
Each year, Decipher recognizes our most outstanding volunteers with several
awards. Thursday night, August 19th, at the Gen Con dAgent Summit and dinner,
the 2004 Volunteer Awards were presented by Decipher Chairman & CEO
Warren Holland.
Tournament Director of the Year
The tournament director who has run the most sanctioned tournaments in the
past year recieves this award. This year, Kevin LaPorte was the winner with
62 sanctioned events to his credit.

Writer of the Year
Many of our volunteers contribute strategy articles and deck designs to
the DGMA and Decipher websites. The 2004 Writer of the Year went to Patrick
Sullivan. (Patrick was unable to attend the summit.)
Rookie of the Year
The four nominees for best performance by a "rookie" dAgent were
Arturo Robles, Kirk England, Scott Goodrich, and Steven Florent. All received
a special watch, and Scott Goodrich was selected as Rookie of the Year.
