Shadows Contest #1:
Elven Expectations
October 7, 2004 – CONTEST IS CLOSED
One of my "Shadowy Statistics" articles said that at least one
of the companions got more than one version in Shadows. One of those companions
is Legolas, and one version was revealed among Tuesday's new cards. The
other is shown below – minus his twilight cost, subtitle, game text,
and resistance. What do you expect that missing Elven information will be?
(His lore is missing, too, but we're not going to ask you to guess that.)
We will randomly select a winner and two runners-up from all correct entries
to receive the following prizes:
- First place: 18 booster packs and two starter decks of Shadows
(random selection)
- Second place: 18 Shadows booster packs
- Third place: two Shadows starter decks (random selection)
You have until Thursday, October 7th at 5pm Eastern Time to submit your
winning entry.

To facilitate prize shipping and determination of eligibility, contest entries
now require your Decipher online account user name.
If you already have an account (for tournaments, fan clubs, the Decipher
Store, the message boards, or FanHQ.com), please use the user name (not
the password) for that account.
If you do not yet have a free Decipher online account, you can create
one now at www.fanhq.com
(click the Your Account button at the top of the screen and then the Register
Now button).
Please make sure the shipping information in your account is up-to-date;
if you win, your prize will be shipped to that address.
Entries without a valid user name will be disqualified.

If you have access to advance confidential information about Shadows, you
are NOT eligible to participate.
This includes employees, contractors, and volunteers such as playtesters,
writers, and translators, of Decipher, its subsidiaries, and business partners,
and immediate members of their families.
