Games Week Is Here!
Decipher is proud to join other great gaming companies to participate
in National Games Week, Nov. 21-27. National Games Week is a celebration
of the fun and competition that comes from sitting across a table with friends
and playing a great game! It could be trading card games, miniature games,
role playing games, board games, you name it!
National Games Week is a great opportunity for you to learn new games,
meet new people and make lifetime gaming friends! Here are some ideas for
you to use to participate:
- Bring a classmate, co-worker, spouse, or neighbor to your local gaming
store one night this week. Teach them to play your favorite game (which
we know is one of Decipher’s great games, right?).
- Build sample decks out of your large collection of The Lord of the
Rings TCG, STAR TREK CCG Second Edition, WARS TCG, etc. Take
these sample decks to your local store and pass them out to people who
aren’t familiar with the games you play. Don’t forget to throw
them one of your extra rulebooks. This is a great way to introduce them
to something new!
- Ask your local retailer to allow you to do an organized demo night.
- Contact your local Decipher dAgent volunteer and ask what you can do
to help promote Decipher games during this week.
- Become a Tournament Director and run an event! Nothing makes people
want to play like community.
And the best thing you can do this week is just get out and play! Don’t
play for prizes or points or fame or glory, but just play a game and enjoy
the company of your fellow competitors! Isn’t that what playing a
game is all about?
