Reflections Contest #3:
Bits & Pieces
November 24, 2004 CONTEST IS CLOSED
The first two Reflections contests were all about the new cards. But many
of you are just as interested in which older cards will be reprinted. This
final contest is about those reprints or at least, some bits and
pieces of them.
How good are you at recognizing a card when you can just see a small piece
of it? Below you'll find "bits and pieces" of eight of the cards
that are being reprinted as foils in Reflections. Most (but not all) show
a piece of the card image. Also, most of the "pieces" are shown
at the same size the piece appears in our online card images, 200% of real
size. However, a few of the pieces have been enlarged beyond that size to
show a little more detail. Your task is to find the card that each "bit"
was taken from, and enter its collector's info to identify it.
There are also two additional questions without images. The "piece"
of the card here is the title (and subtitle, if any) turned into an anagram.
Unscramble the anagrams to find the actual card titles, and then enter the
cards' collector's info.
All cards, of course, are from Second Edition sets 1-4, and all are rares.
None of the cards in this contest have been revealed on the reprints list
yet.
We will randomly select a winner and two runners-up from all completely
correct entries. First place will receive one display box of Reflections
packs. Each runner-up will receive 12 Reflections packs. If there are not
three entries with all ten answers correct, winners will be selected from
those entries with the most correct answers.
You have until Wednesday, November 24 at 5pm Eastern Time to submit
your winning entry. Good luck!
1. First, type in the full collector's info for the card represented
by each image or anagram. The collector's info includes the set number,
rarity letter, and card number, in that order.Do not leave any spaces
between the parts, or your answers will not be counted correctly.
For example, the collector's info for Locutus, Voice of the Borg, is 3R132.
