Requisitions
Drone
by Will Hawkins
The Borg are masters of efficiency and resource manipulation. The Queen
can call upon any drone in her collective to accomplish any task. The Borg
are good at getting what they need when they need it, and that is what the
Requisitions Drone helps you do.
He is two-cost, and his attributes are the normal fives across the board.
His skills are useful, but with the Borg ability to gain almost any skill,
not much to comment on. So, it is his ability that makes him special: "When
you play this personnel, you may examine the top four cards of your deck
and take one into hand. Place the remaining cards on the bottom of your
deck in any order."
This drone was not designed to specifically help you solve missions. This
drone assists in resource manipulation, helping you to set up whatever strategy
you wish. If dilemma busting is your desire, he can help get to the Queen
or Locutus faster. If assimilation interests you, he can help you sift through
your personnel to find that Abduction you need. The only price you pay is
that you can only draw and later play one of the four cards; the rest go
to the bottom of your deck.
Now, if putting potentially useful cards on the bottom of your deck doesn't
sound like fun, just use the Facilitation drone to play those cards from
the bottom. Use both these drones in tandem to quickly and efficiently play
the personnel, events, interrupts, or ships you need. In addition, the Requisitions
Drone will help against those manipulation decks that try to prevent you
from getting the cards you need. Also consider that since this personnel
allows you to draw a card, he essentially costs one.
There you have it the latest drone added to the collective, making
the Borg a more efficient affiliation.
