to test your skills against some of the best players the world has to
offer. The 38 top players (plus an alternate) move on to Day 2. Official

Seventy-two warriors from all around the globe have proven their mettle
and will now face each other in a titanic struggle to make it to the 12
finalist seats. Official decklists are required before tournament start

World Championship Day 3 (Sanctioned)

The best of the best compete to reach what will be the final stage of
this year's ultimate Star Wars CCG event. The 12 top ranked players from
Day 2 go back to the fray in 4 games of constructed play to earn the
right to play in the Final Confrontation. Official decklists are required
before tournament start time.

It all comes down to these two games. Two combatants vie for the title of
2000 Star Wars CCG World Champion. Full-screen video feed and audio
commentary will be provided in the Viewing Room for spectators. Don't

DecipherCon Team Challenge (Sanctioned)

This special team event follows the same format as Decipher's team events
of the summer conventions with one major addition - wherever possible, no
player will be paired against a player on their own team! Now that
"stumbling over your own teammate" is no longer an excuse, does your crew
of 3 or 4 have what it takes to take home the trophies? Official

Death Star II Closed Environment Constructed

Do you think that you will be able to outwit your opponent to blow up the
bunker? Or maybe you will be able to get the Death Star II fully
operational and rule space. Well now's you chance to test out this new
tournament environment against people from all over the world. Just
think of all of the different meta-game that you will be seeing here.
Highlander (Non-Sanctioned)

As the saying goes "There Can Be Only One". So your deck can only have
one copy of a card title or persona, i.e. only one copy of Darth Vader
(Premiere) or Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith (Special Edition), not
one of each.
Kibitzing* (Non-Sanctioned)

How many times have you had to bite your tongue watching a game because a
player does not deploy enough to draw a battle destiny or forgets to
force drain? Well now's your chance to speak out. Scout your opponent's
decks, ask the TD for advice, comment on the game next to you, do
anything-well almost anything.

These two formats are objective-based tournaments. Build your decks
around either the 3rd Anthology objectives (Race for Alderaan) or the
Death Star II objectives (Turning of a Skywalker). Play proceeds as
normal, but if you do not flip your objective before you win that game,
you only receive a modified win.
Sealed Deck
Easy Come, Easy Go $10 (Non-Sanctioned)

This sealed-deck format adds new meaning to the word "lost." Whenever a
card is lost, placed out of play or discarded, you must physically
destroy it! Tear it in half, roll it into a ball, eat it - whatever! The
catch: you must play with all of the cards that you are given, and if you
drop early from the tournament, you must forfeit all of your cards. Each
player will be given 3 unlimited Premiere boosters, 2 Jabba's Palace
boosters and either an EPP Darth Vader or EPP Luke Skywalker.

Here's your chance to play with these cards weeks before your friend's
back home will get a chance to play with them. Each player will receive
one Jabba's Palace Sealed Deck box to wage a battle on Tatooine. Who
will come out victorious?
Japanese Sealed $25 (Sanctioned)

Fans of the Star Wars CCG Japanese expansions will get a chance to play
in their very own sealed-deck events. In this format, the cards you play
with could be the best prize of all! Each player will be given a Premiere
starter, 1 limited Premiere booster and 3 limited A New Hope boosters,
all Japanese!
Reflections Booster Draft $20 (Sanctioned)

Players will be seated into groups of 4, with each player receiving 3
Star Wars Reflections boosters and either a Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker
Enhanced Premiere pack to draft the best decks possible. Will you draft
the foil, or let it go?
Other Format
Eight Man Events
When you are ready to play, so are we! Eight man is simply a way of
allowing players to start a tournament whenever they feel like it! Simply
turn up in the SAWGRASS room, anytime between 8pm and midnight and check
out the sign-up board for the format that you wish to compete in (with
entry fees if sealed-deck) and we will supply you with a tournament
director, prize support and somewhere to play (whenever possible). We
know the feeling - sometimes you just gotta have a game!
