Who in the Star Wars universe is your alter ego??
Jabba the Hutt, easily. I love plopping myself on a platform, surrounding
myself with my friends - when you meet them, they'll remind you EERILY
of Bib Fortuna and Solacious Crumb - eating Indian food (well, I love
it, but half of my friends find it as revolting as Jabba's frogs...),
and making Twi'lek girls dance for us...
What's the greatest, most exciting challenge
in creating art for Jedi Knights?
Well, its all been a challenge! When I first inquired about this project
and showed samples of my work, I had up til then done exclusively hardware
modeling, and the first thing I was put on was characters! It was a
very new and unique challenge. I was worried it was going to suck badly,
and then I turned in my imperial gunner model and was told I actually
didn't do a horrific job on it, and have done several character bodies
since. My favorite has been the Snowtrooper, as it gave me a chance
to get really crazy with my modeling techniques..
What, for you, is the most amazing Star Wars
visual??
Most amazing visual in Star Wars... hmm... Return of the Jedi's concluding
space battle still holds up very well. Luke peering at Tattooine's twin
suns in the first film sticks out. I think Episode I's breathtaking
views of Coruscant take the cake though, from a visual effects standpoint.
