Strategy

Opposite the Han theme, this deck is based on swarming the opponent, with Tarkin and Motti leading the Imperial army to victory. Packing 5 Tarkins is necessary considering he is a beast within himself. He can bulk up to power 9 without any enhancements from Motti or a tactical bonus. He could be as strong as 17, if you play your cards right.

Again drawing power is very important in this deck, too. That's No Moon paired up with ST-103 • Sabacc Player gives you a drawing loop sure to draw the attention of your opponent's weapons. This deck also packs a lot of weapons, including the disgusting Vader's Lightsaber, and the techish E-Web Repeating Blaster. Vader's lightsaber is a must for any dark theme deck with its destiny of 6, and double swing ability at +3 to hit. The E-Web Repeating Blaster also feeds off of the many troopers you play. With Tarkin leading the attack, four troopers packing E-Webs means four +4 to hit shots, with each cannon firing twice.

This dark deck also excels at space power. Motti waves in the capitals for a few credits less, thus making it affordable to defend space. And even though Vader's TIE doesn't fit the Tarkin theme, paying the extra credit is worth having a shooting machine in space. Swarming the opponent and your insane drawing power should be enough to put an end to the Alliance with no need of a final battle.
