Strategy

This deck feeds off of high destinies and drawing power. As you can see all of the mains are here to lead your smuggler into victory.

Compared to the Tarkin deck, this is considerably smaller since the main characters can fend for themselves. I know what you're saying, playing 16 ground weapons is insane. Well it isn't insane, it's necessary. Leia's Blaster packs a punch, and if supported correctly can take out any dark character with one shot. And with the high destinies from your characters, lightsabers, and Han's Blaster Pistol (six!!!) you are sure to wipe out the weenies and intimidate the Sith.

As far as space goes you have the best credits can buy. Gold Five may be the best ship in the game for its ability to pull a weapon from the discard pile. HUGE! The other fighters have considerable power for moderate deploy, with good destinies. What's better than Gold Five? The Rancor's Tooth! This ship is a beast waiting to tear apart any dark fighter with its power of 12! Not to mention all the tactical bonuses you're packing.

If played correctly, the +3 (and +4 from They Came From Behind) will give you the edge in battle. The secret is to anticipate what bonus your opponent could play and make your bonuses count. If they amass a power of 6 to your 7, then anticipate at least a 3 on their part, so you will want to play at least a 3 or higher. Don't waste tactical bonuses when you are down 4-5 power, save them for their game text and draw cards in preparation for the final battle.
