Retailers: Developing The Jedi Knights Community In Your Store Dear Decipher Retail Partner: Thanks to a special promotional insert in the Classic Star Wars™ Special Edition Trilogy videos, released in stores November 21, 2000, players and collectors alike may come into your stores to sign up for the Jedi Knights™ TCG Player Leagues and to collect the free Jedi Knights card featuring Luke Skywalker. They also may present a copy of Darth Vader's Lightsaber card that was also included in the video insert. This is a great opportunity for you to develop the Jedi Knights community in your store and to be first to help players discover the all-new TCG that presents Star Wars™ as you've never seen before. Here's what you can do now prior to the launch of Jedi Knights: (1) Prepare a sign up sheet of players who want to register for the Jedi Knights Player Leagues. Be sure to collect phone numbers, so you can alert them when your JK Player League Kits arrive in your store (scheduled a few weeks after Street Date). (2) Notify Kendrick Summers at Decipher (757.664.1143) that you are interested in hosting the Jedi Knights TCG Player League in your store, which will be instituted by invitation only. (3) Let League registrants know they will receive the free Jedi Knights Luke Skywalker card when the League kicks off. (4) Alert players and collectors that the Darth Vader's Lightsaber card included in the insert is an original prototype and completely unlike the Jedi Knights card template that exists today. (5) Place an order for Jedi Knights TCG product with your distributor as soon as possible. Jedi Knights will also introduce a small print run of highly collectible "First Day" of printing cards.
