EXPANSIONS

The release schedule for the first nine expansion sets for The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game calls for a large expansion set just prior to the release of each of the three movies, with smaller expansions at approximately four-month intervals between. Plans for the next three years, plus Anthology sets, were announced on May 20, 2003.
