TIPS FOR SAFE MESSAGE BOARD TRADING
1. Be a wise and careful consumer. Decipher sponsors the Message Boards and
moderates its use as a service to you, but cannot be responsible for trading outcomes.
2. Have reasonable expectations. Prices that are "too good to be true" usually
are. Communicate about what cards are being traded, their quantity and their condition,
and you and your trading partner will both feel that a fair bargain has been arrived
at.
3. Protect yourself by asking for 3 references (past customers). Then email them,
asking if they can recommend the trader.
4. If you feel that a transaction has not gone well, please talk about it with
your trading partner before you go public with accusations.
5. A few players have misunderstood Decipher's card replacement policy to state
that cards acquired in a trade will be replaced. Cards that are worn or torn through
normal use cannot be replaced for free, regardless of how you have acquired them.
However, if a card acquired in a trade shows signs of factory damage, present
it to Decipher's customer service for replacement consideration.
