Star Trek CCG: The Motion Pictures Release Date
By now you all know that the newest Star Trek CCG expansion set
is The Motion Pictures, featuring cards from all nine Star Trek™
movie features to date. We're now pleased to announce a worldwide release
date of Wednesday, April 17, 2002! Yes, in just five short weeks, you'll
be able to go out and save the whales – or the galaxy – with all
your favorite Star Trek characters.
What does The Motion Pictures expansion have? Everything from So'na to
supermen and from Soran to Sha Ka Ree, an ultra-rare 24th-century James
T. Kirk, and more Klingons than you've ever seen in a single Star Trek
CCG expansion set since premiere! Play decks built with personnel and ships
all from the classic movie era, enhance your Voyager-only format decks with
cards from the "Flashback" episode with its Star Trek VI origins,
or integrate all the cards into the full Star Trek CCG universe of
over 2400 existing cards. Time locations, tactics, whales, eels... this
set has it all.
Packaging and rarity distribution are identical to other recent sets: 131
cards (40 common, 40 uncommon, 50 rare, and 1 ultra-rare) in 11-card booster
packs containing 1 rare and a mix of 10 common and uncommon cards. Display
boxes will hold 30 booster packs.
We'll soon be ready to start showing you new cards on a daily basis, but
until then, enjoy a sneak preview of the head superman himself, Khan.
