Customizable Card Game Expansion Integrates
All Nine Paramount Pictures STAR TREK Movies
(NORFOLK, VA., March 12, 2002) -- On April 17th, players will finally
have the chance to integrate all of their favorite STAR TREK characters
into fast-paced CCG play with STAR TREK The Motion Pictures, the
latest STAR TREK CCG expansion!
The Motion Pictures set contains cards from all nine Paramount
Pictures STAR TREK Movies. It also contains tactic cards, which
were introduced in the sold-out Blaze of Glory expansion, and new high-power
cards including The Genesis Device, V'ger, and I.K.C. Kla'Diyus
General Chang's ship that can fire while cloaked.
"New deck types and all new strategies make gameplay very cool," says
game designer Evan Lorentz. "The complete main cast of the classic movies
is in here. And you'll see more Klingons in this set than in any other since
the game's premiere."
Klingons aren't the only adversaries featured in the new set. The Motion
Pictures has deck themes centered around many STAR TREK scoundrels,
including Khan and Sybok you can even play the Son'a from STAR
TREK: Insurrection!
STAR TREK The Motion Pictures is a 131-card set, sold in 11-card
booster packs. It consists of 40 commons, 40 uncommons, 50 rares, and one
ultra-rare. Recommended retail is $3.29 per pack
