Swedish National Star Trek CCG Tournament Event

It's time for the largest and most exciting set of Star Trek CCG tournaments in Northern Europe – the Swedish Championships!

With often great distances separating large sections of the population, it is more difficult to assemble large groups of people to play in Sweden than in many other European countries. So the players and TDs of Sweden have combined their efforts to make this annual national event the ideal place to congregate.

From the west coast city of Gothenburg to the northern town of Umeå; from Central Borlänge to the beautiful capital of Stockholm: players from all over the country will meet on neutral ground in the student town of Uppsala.

Venue: Kemiinstitutionen, SLU (Ultuna), Arrheniusplan 8, Uppsala, Sweden.

Saturday 21st September at 12 noon
The Sealed Deck features an unprecedented deck format this year: a Reflections/Holodeck Adventures booster draft, supplemented by a 16-card pack of goodies including missions, dilemmas, and even a pair of Q-Flashes! Half of the players will also be the other half's nemesis, made possible by Pralor Unit 6263 commandeering a Pralor Warship and Cravic Unit 122 with its Cravic Warship. There will also be no quadrant restrictions in this tournament, so prepare for a fun chase across the galaxy!

Sunday 22nd September at 10 am
The Constructed event is sure to attract even more players and a wide selection of affiliations from the Star Trek universe: Romulans, Klingons, Hirogen, and plenty of "the Swedish affiliation" too!

Two other small events are planned for the restless night-owls that have prepared their decks already.

In addition to the tournaments and regular trading opportunities, other activities such as deck building sessions, sampling of the famous Uppsalian Chocolate Muffins, quizzes, and viewing of selected Star Trek episodes are also planned, to make the event as memorable as possible! It has already become a firm fixture in the Swedish gaming calendar.

Come if you can! Regret it forever if you can't! Either way, it will be a wild ride.

See you out there!
