Jabba and Lando Throw Down In Jabba's Palace Sealed Deck: Part
II
Go to Part
I of this article for the Lando tip:
Ever seen one of those gangster films where the Big Crime Boss
takes over the interrogation of the Brave Private Eye? Bodyguards
surround him like flies, but you know that Big is calling the
shots. And if he wanted to, he could pound the Brave Private Eye
into the dirt in ten seconds flat. Don't you wish that Jabba could
do stuff like that instead of sitting there on his throne, drooling
at slave girls and eating frogs?
Well, now he can! While his other personae are content to stay
behind the lines, increasing the forfeit values of your aliens
from the safety of the Audience Chamber, Mighty
Jabba bids you welcome to a giant six-pack of trouble.

Mighty Jabba retains the bulk (no pun intended) of his stats from
his Jabba's Palace version, only now his deploy cost and forfeit
values are lower, and it's easier to move him around. It's hard
to take Mighty Jabba down with weapons, since every other alien
at his location needs to be 'hit' before he'll fall. He's still
immune to attrition.
And then there's that extra battle destiny.
Yes, extra battle destiny is still something of interest, even
in today's world of multi-destiny conflicts. Mighty Jabba's influence
allows him to draw an extra battle destiny (aside from the one
that he himself draws, due to his four points of ability) in any
battle involving him and one of your alien leaders. Think of it
as an executive conference, only with sledgehammers. Which characters
qualify for this game text?
Bib Fortuna
Chall Bekan
Ephant Mon
Nebit
Ortugg (if present with another Gamorrean)
URoRRuR'R'R
Wittin
Not very many, it appears, but several of these characters are
already staples of Dark Side strategies. Ephant Mon is perhaps
the best of them all. Pair this Chevin with Mighty Jabba, and
you're looking at not only seven power, a minimum of two battle
destiny, and a "closed door" policy against gamblers, spies and
thieves, but also complete blanket protection from battle damage
and attrition. This two-card combo is the ultimate protection
for your big drains, such as those at the Cantina.
But why stop there? With My
Kind Of Scum, the new Dark Side objective, almost any unique
alien can become a leader. Team Mighty Jabba with Mosep for super
drain power and two battle destiny. Pair Jabba and Giran for even
more weapons protection. Jabba and Bossk give you extra-high attrition.
Even seemingly human aliens, like Dengar, specify their species
(which is a requirement for My Kind of Scum). And don't think
that Mighty Jabba's tied down to one place. A Mobquet A-1 Deluxe
Floater is roomy enough for Jabba and an alien leader, and it
moves for free - even as a 'react' in support of any of your thieves,
smugglers or bounty hunters in battle.
With all this diversity, it's almost too much to ask how many
decks Mighty Jabba can find his way into. He's certainly valuable
for protecting your Rep at the Audience Chamber, but any deck
can make good use of him. Just start with Power
Of The Hutt, one of the new Effects in Jabba's Palace Sealed
Deck, and you're ready to go: you can fetch Bib, one of your alien
leaders, and Boelo, who cancels battle destiny. Both just slide
right into Jabba's rap-masta plan. All you need is Da Man, hisself...and
that's easy as pie with the Audience Chamber.
So watch out, Han! My brutha (slugga?) Jabba's in the hizz-ouse.
And he wants you to get in his belly.
