in his own words...

I 've lived my whole life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Though Canada can be more cold than I'd like (makes a mid-November birthday kind of a bummer), I'm used to the weather.

Currently, I monitor Decipher's Bulletin Boards and Palace when I can. They are great places to be, lots of information and the ability to meet players from all over. I didn't realize how big the games were until I entered the online community. I'm glad I did.

I'm a huge Scifi fan. Star Wars, Star Trek, MST 3000, X-files and Brimstone are my favorite films and series. I'm a big Batman fan, especially the animated series. I don't know if it counts as science fiction, but hey, I love it anyway. I really enjoy horror and action movies too. I guess you can say I'm a filmbuff. ;)

A friend got me started with CCGs. Magic: The Gathering came first, and it was fun, new and something different. As soon as Star Wars CCG was released, I bought a box of Premiere - and was I ever amazed. I really loved how the game played and the way it simulated The Force. I was hooked immediately.

When I heard a Star Trek CCG First Contact set was being developed, I decided to give it a chance. Before its release, I grabbed a Star Trek CCG booster I saw at the store to see what the cards looked like. It happened to be an Alternate Universe pack, and I pulled the Future Enterprise. I never expected to get it. I was happy and bought a bunch of Star Trek CCG packs the next day. I've been a fan of both games ever since.
