One of my favorite pastimes is collecting Star Wars memorabilia. It was just
a matter of time before I crossed paths with Decipher's wonderful game.
I remember the first time I realized the cards I had been collecting were a
great game. I had a complete set of Star Wars CCG cards, and a few of my students
(I'm a Junior High teacher) suggested that I learn to play. About one year after
I started playing, I joined the Squadron Member service as Red 16. Since then
I have devoted a lot of time towards mentoring younger players, strengthening
Northern California's player base, and providing demos and tournaments at the
local schools.
I currently have a Website, Torch
Industries, which has up-to-date info on the latest deck strategies, ELO scoring,
strategy tips, Sun Tzu's tips (a personal hero), Northern California team play,
Skywalker Ranch pictures, etc. Hopefully, one of these days I will convince my
wife and baby (on the way) to start playing Star Wars CCG. Until then, I will
see you guys out on the tournament scene!
