DECIPHER PREFERRED RETAILER PROGRAM

If you are a "brick-and-mortar" retailer who sells and supports Decipher TCGs or RPGs, you can apply to join our Decipher Preferred Retailer program. There are two levels to this program: the Decipher Silver Preferred Retailer and the Decipher Platinum Preferred Retailer.

SILVER PREFERRED RETAILER

Benefits
Silver Preferred Retailers will receive the following benefits:

  • Access to Decipher Preferred Retail website. This grants you the ability to order, at cost, promotional items and materials and DGMA event kits, get up-to-date news, etc.
  • Access to Decipher dAgent resources. Find a nearby dAgent or sign up a candidate from your store to join the ranks of the dArmy of Decipher volunteers.
  • Eligibility to host DGMA events. These include release weekend events, Premier Series Qualifiers, and other top-level events when available.
  • Twice-monthly e-mail newsletter. This will keep your store up-to-date on Decipher products and programs. (You must provide us with a valid e-mail address.)
  • Free Decipher Preview Postcards. Use this collectible postcard series to build awareness and excitement for new product releases in your store.

Requirements
To receive Silver Preferred Retailer benefits, you must:

  • Operate a brick-and-mortar retail store.
  • Stock at least one Decipher hobby game product.
  • Provide a valid e-mail address. This is to ensure you're kept up-to-date on Decipher news. Decipher Preferred Retail newsletters will be emailed out roughly once every two weeks. Decipher will never sell your email address or use it for inappropriate use.
  • Agree to comply with Decipher usage rules. Promotional cards and materials must be used in compliance with Decipher's stated rules and policies.

PLATINUM PREFERRED RETAILER

Benefits
Platinum Preferred Retailers will receive all of the benefits of the Silver Preferred level, plus these additional benefits.

  • A Platinum Preferred Retailer is a Decipher signature retailer. Platinum Preferred Retailers will be showcased as THE place to go for Decipher gaming.
  • Platinum Retailers will be featured in the Decipher Retail Locator on decipher.com. The URL for this locator will be featured on all Decipher product packaging and advertisements starting in August 2004.
  • Free Stuff! Platinum Retailers will also receive free promotional materials and retail incentives to showcase Decipher products. P.O.P. items such as posters, standees, window clings, and more are provided to Platinum Retailers at no charge.
  • Decipher Retail Incentives. You will receive sales incentive kits to help you sell Decipher product.
  • dAgent assigned to your store. Platinum Preferred Retailers will receive a Decipher dAgent to promote Decipher's entire hobby game catalog.

Requirements
To receive Platinum Preferred Retailer benefits, you must:

  • Operate a brick-and-mortar retail store.
  • Stock all Decipher card game hobby products. This makes it possible for Decipher to direct customers for all Decipher products to your store. The updated list of required products your store needs to carry is posted here.
  • Provide a valid e-mail address. This is to ensure you're kept up-to-date on Decipher news. Decipher Preferred Retail newsletters will be emailed out roughly once every two weeks. Decipher will never sell your email address or use it for inappropriate use.
  • Maintain Organized Play space in your store. Having gaming space available for tournaments and leagues can make a tremendous difference in the success of gaming in your store.
  • Participate in Platinum Promotions. Decipher will offer promotions from time to time that benefit Platinum Preferred Retailers and drive customers through their doors.
  • Participate in DGMA Events and Leagues. You must run a minimum of two Decipher events (tournament, demo day, league night, pack party, etc.) per month. Your in-store dAgent will assist you with these events. Platinum Retailers also get the first chance to host high-level DGMA events such as Territorial Open Championships.
  • Maintain required stock. Decipher dAgents will assist us in making sure listed stores are meeting Platinum Requirements. This is to ensure that the program isn't being abused by phony store listings, online-only retailers, etc.
  • Agree to comply with Decipher usage rules. Promotional cards and materials must be used in compliance with Decipher's stated rules and policies.

Just click the appropriate button below to apply for the Decipher Preferred Retailer program or to request an upgrade from Silver to Platinum level. Once we verify your information and enter you in our database, your store will begin receiving all the benefits of the Decipher Preferred Retailer membership level that fits your store.
