The Boys Are Back v. 2.0
Light Side Deck
Brad Bedlion, 2000 Nevada Young Jedi Champion
|
Here's a good, competitive deck that I think players will
like. It's well-organized and has some great ideas about including
Wild Cards in your Light Side decks. Hmmmm, I think I might
make this deck myself.
- Kevin Reitzel, Bravo Leader
Brad says:
After playing the ever popular Queen's and Padme's decks I
decided that I needed a change. With the introduction of the
new EMoDM Wild Cards I decided to go back to the roots of
Episode I and kick some Sith butt with the original Dynamic
Duo of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. I also included some of their
friends that they picked up upon the way, mainly Anakin and
Jar Jar. The main purpose of this deck is to overwhelm my
opponent with a constant barage of Obi, Qui-Gon, Ani, and
Jar Jar. Each character on it's own is a force to be recond
with, but when they work together as a team is when things
get nasty for the Sith.
This deck includes cards from Menace of Darth Maul (DM),
The Jedi Council (JC), Battle of Naboo (BN) and Enhanced Menace
of Darth Maul (EM).

Brad's notes on how to play:
This deck is simple but strong. If you're wondering, there
are 15 cards with a destiny of 6, 10 5's, 18 4's, 8 3's, and
9 2's. Average destiny is 4.16, if you're into that .
This deck is mainly attack with power, and if you run into
tanks or Darth Maul w/ double saber, the best plan of action
is to team up characters (if possible). Otherwise you can
always dump the planet and go elsewhere. You have a good variety
of characters, but don't put them all down at the same planet
(unless it's the last planet). I try to keep Ani and Jar together
and Obi with Qui-Gon. If you look at my interrupts you'll
see why. This deck has only lost 3 times in its last 20 outings,
and then, mainly because of bad draws. Enjoy and have fun
with this monster of a deck.
